Vehicle Accidents - Pedestrian Accidents

For many, it’s a surprising -- and alarming -- figure: In 2006, pedestrians accounted for 3 percent of the 42,000 deaths and 2.6 million injuries due to motor vehicle accidents.  In all, 4,784 people who lost their lives on the road weren’t even in a vehicle, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  They were walking, standing on corners, jogging after work -- and their lives were changed forever, due to someone else’s negligence.

For more than a quarter of a century, the lawyers of Mary Alexander & Associates have been protecting the victims of serious, avoidable vehicle crashes, whether they were drivers, passengers, or pedestrians.  The circumstances may differ, but our goal -- our mission -- is always the same: vindicating the rights of those who have suffered by the wrongful actions of another, and helping them get the recovery and accountability they deserve.  We’ve taken on negligent drivers and vehicle manufacturers, and fight aggressively for our clients -- both in court and at the negotiation table.  And we’re known throughout California for high-tech courtroom exhibits that help explain what went wrong -- and what shouldn’t have -- to juries.  When we take a case, we’re looking to get our clients more than a favorable verdict or settlement.  We’re looking to give them a new start.  And for more than 25 years, that’s exactly what we’ve been doing.
